Professional Experience
Homeyra has over 8 years of clinical experience working across private practice, organisational settings, and community mental health services.
Throughout her career, she has supported adults from a wide range of personal backgrounds, life experiences, and therapeutic needs. Her work has included supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, grief, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and a range of other emotional and psychological challenges.
Therapeutic Approach
Homeyra’s therapeutic work is grounded in a trauma-informed and integrative approach, recognising that each individual’s experiences, emotional world, and therapeutic needs are unique.
Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, therapy is tailored collaboratively to the individual and their goals. Sessions are adapted thoughtfully depending on what feels most relevant, supportive, and meaningful at each stage of the therapeutic process.
Homeyra integrates a range of evidence-informed approaches into her work, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and supportive psychotherapy.
Working Together
Homeyra is passionate about helping individuals develop greater self-awareness, emotional understanding, and insight while working towards meaningful and sustainable change.
Therapy is approached as a collaborative process that values curiosity, reflection, and respect, creating space for individuals to better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and move towards a life that feels more aligned with their values and goals.
